Where We Stayed
Where We Ate
The Coocoo's Nest
Soups & Sandwiches
Lunch was delicious and we have heard great things about their brunch as well.
Fjallkonan
Afternoon Tea
We never drink tea, but the teas they offered were delicious and the food and desserts are amazing. They also have regular meals as well.
Braud & Co
Bakery!
Try all of their flavors of cinnamon rolls and grab some chocolate Skyr.
We had each person in our group buy a different roll so we could sample them all.
Three Coats
Whale, Puffin, Horse
This is the place to go if you are looking for the arctic cuisine.
Grillmarkadurinn
Romantic Ambiance
We enjoyed the tasting menu to have a long dinner, tasting all of cuisine and wine pairing.
Babalu Cafe
Coffee and atmosphere
Provides a great place to hide out from the weather. They have a Star Wars themed bathroom!
Kaffivagninn
Oldest Restaurant in Reykjavik
Local fish and chips, delicious soup, and tasty cake
Valdis Ice Cream
Ice Cream!
Need we say more?
Lemmy
Cool Bar
A fun place to relax and enjoy a drink along with some bar food.
Segreifinn
Langoustine Soup
Suggested to us by a local as the place to go for soup.
BBP Hotdogs
Hotdogs
This was a good hotdog, but to be completely honest I think it was overhyped.
Old Iceland
Quaint Diner
Small Restaurant with big flavor. Everyone loved their food, and we both loved our 12-hour Braised Beef Cheek.
Grandi Matholl
Food Hall
Head here if everyone wants something different, or if you can't decide what you want. All different types of restaurants and everyone liked their choice.
Brikk
Bakery!
We had this bakery for breakfast everyday while we stayed near the harbor. Everything is delicious.
Baka Baka
Bakery!
Right near all of the shops, this little bakery had some great pastries along with lunch offerings.
Cafe Loki
Rye Bread Ice Cream
Great place to grab lunch right by the church. This is also the only place to get Rye Bread Ice Cream in Reykjavik.
